BREAKING: 25,000 Companies Blacklisted by Qatar Authorities for Labor Law Violation

அதாவது எந்தவொரு நிறுவனமும் தங்களுடைய தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு மாதாந்த ஊதியத்தினை வங்கீக் கணக்கு ஊடாக மாதத்தின் முதல் 7 நாட்களுக்குள் செலுத்த வேண்டும்.
கடந்த 3 மாதங்களாக குறிப்பிட்ட 25,000 நிறுவனகள் தாங்கள் தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு வங்கி ஊடக செலுத்த தவறி விட்டார்கள்.
வங்கி ஊடக மாத ஊதியங்களை செலுத்துவதானால் கத்தார் அரசாங்கம் இலகுவான முறையில் நிறுவனகள் தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு மாத ஊதியங்கள் வழங்குவதை உறுதி செய்கிறது.
சட்டத்தை மீறிய குறிப்பிட்ட 25,000 நிறுவன உரிமையாளருக்கு குறைந்த பட்சம் ஒரு மாத சிறை தண்டனை அல்லது QAR 2,000 தொடக்கம் QAR 6000 வரை (இலங்கை நாணய பெறுமதி ரூபாய் 80,000 தொடக்கம் 240,000 வரை) தண்டப்பணமும் அல்லது இந்த இரண்டு தண்டனைகளை வழங்க கத்தார் அரசு தீர்மதிதுள்ளது.

According to sources around 25000 companies have been blacklisted effecting many people working in Qatar.
The Wage Protection System (WPS) makes it mandatory for employers to transfer salaries to workers’ accounts in one of the financial institutions in Qatar.
According to the labour law, company owners not transferring workers’ wages electronically in time will be liable to face a jail term not exceeding a month or a fine of QR2,000 to QR6,000 or both.
WPS says that employees’ salaries must be transferred to their bank accounts by the seventh day of every month.
Companies have been given time to provide delayed salaries in next few days or be ready to face legal prosecution.
These companies will not able to make any new visa for their employees. As per the sources the move will affect 100000 workers in Qatar.
While talking to HR of one of the blacklisted company, he said we are going to transfer salary to all workers in next 24 hours.
But he further added that this move could affect many people who are either working legally with a sponsor or working illegally with purchased visas.
It is pertinent to mention here that new labour law will come into effect by the October this year, state of Qatar is making all efforts to have zero tolerance for labour law violations.
